http://www.ideasroom.co.cc
This site is designed by me and i want to enable adsense for this.. please help me how to increase free traffic to my website… thankyou
I am not even going to touch the idea of someone that is running a website that teaches others how to improve their site ranking etc coming here to ask this particular question.
I do have one piece of advice though, you may want to fix all the broken links and misspellings before you start trying to drive people to your site. No sense getting people to your site if it does not work or look professional.

Hi,
There are several ways to get website traffic fast and free. I am sharing to you some niche ways:
1) Article Submission, 2) URL submission, 3) Social Bookmarking, 4) Forum posting, 5) Affiliate Marketing, 6) Press release, 7) Classified Ads posting,
Blog commenting, 9) Social Network Marketing, 10) Many more…
These all are good and effective way to get back links and increase traffic. Its good that you doing this yourself, actually I am little bit lazy to do this all myself. Mostly I choose a company (magicsolv.com), who does SEO for me. Their services are cheap so that it is easy to afford. Well, I hope this will help you.
Best of luck!!

Getting traffic is a combination of a lot of things. The key to success is to create great content that visitors want to use, search engines will love and other websites will naturally link to. Of course, it’s easier said than done.
You can use pay per click advertising in the search engines to reach audiences looking for your products. You can use Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords or Yahoo http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com
Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:
1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.
2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important — and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more - that’s additional traffic that you get for FREE!
AddThis http://www.addthis.com
3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Increase Traffic to your Website - the Basics
There are plenty of ways to bring traffic to your website. Some are free and some cost money. A few can cost a lot of money depending on the topic of your website.
Let’s start with the FREE ways to drive traffic to your website:
1. Directory traffic: This is traffic brought to your site because someone found you in a directory using a search engine, such as Google or Yahoo. There are plenty of smaller directories too. You should submit your site to as many directories as you can. There are some directories that charge money to be listed or for a premium place in their directory. I have not found that paying for these services brings in more traffic to my site, but others say it helps a lot. To bring in traffic from a search engine, you need to make your site search engine friendly. This is often referred to as SEO or search engine optimization. I have plenty of free tips and articles to help you with SEO for your site.
2. Banner exchange: You can make a banner for your website and exchange it with other sites. The easiest way to exchange is to join an exchange site. My favorite is LinkBuddies and they have been around awhile. They even have a free banner creator. There are more free banner creators on the web. The most common size is 468×80. For a link exchange through a service, you just put some html into your site where the banner will go and the banners from other websites in the exchange are loaded onto your page each time someone views it. Each time a banner is shown, you earn credit towards having your banner shown on other sites. At LinkBuddies, your banner is shown once for each two banners shown on your site. The nice thing is that you can put a banner on each page, so credits add up quickly. If you are just starting out and need some traffic quickly, you can additional credits, but this is not required. At LinkBuddies you get 500 free impressions of your banner when you sign up.
3. Forums: Join some forums related to the topic of your website, or other topics you are just really interested in. Post and respond to other posts. Answer some questions. Once you are actively participating in the forum, put a link to your site in your signature if it is allowed. Be sure to include it in your forum profile.
4. Blogs: Setting up a blog is free. Blog about your topic. Make comments in other blogs that are relevant to your topic. Make good contacts and exchange links between your blog and someone else’s.
5. Exchange text links: This can help with your search engine ranking as well as bring in some traffic. But don’t just exchange links with anyone out there. Exchange links with sites that will be of interest to the people who read your site. Links to relevant pages are always better than just a link to another site for the sake of having a link. Make sure that your links page is easily accessible from the main page of your site.
6. Email: Make sure to include a link to your site in your personal email signature.
7. Offline: Is your website part of your business? Put it on your business card, stationary, flyers, etc.
There are also paid methods of bringing in more traffic to your site:
1. PPC: Paid-per-click ads can be a quick way to bring in traffic. Popular programs are Google’s Adwords, Yahoo’s Search Marketing, MSN’s ad service and 7search. There are plenty of other programs too. The lesser know programs will probably cost you less money, but you will probably not get as much traffic either. The trick is to write a great ad that will make people want to click on it and combine it with low-cost keywords. If you are making money with the ads, then consider adding on some more expensive keywords. I don’t spend more than half of what I bring in on ads and this works well for me.
2. Paid traffic sites: You can pay to have somewhat targeted traffic driven to your site. If your site is new and does not contain Adsense ads yet (or a similar program) then this can be a way to spread the word quickly and inexpensively. Just be sure to read the terms of service for any affiliate program you join. Some specifically prohibit you from participating if you are using a paid traffic program to get a lot of traffic to your site.
3. PTR programs: Paid-to-read programs pay people to read emails. Basically, the program is acting as your affiliate. You pay them, they send out a great email and some of the people who read it will be interested, click on the link in the email and visit your site. Again, make sure that this is ok with any other program you may have running on your site.

Getting Free Traffic: 11 Simple Methods
As my father used to say, “Money and Time are the only real assets in this world.” Buying traffic is clearly the simplest means of driving traffic to your website. But you probably don’t have a lot of money to use for building traffic. I didn’t when I started, either. So, you will just have to invest your other asset - time.
I am giving you some techniques to build traffic that take a lot of time, but they are absolutely free and will result in a good amount of targeted, not generic, traffic. You will shortly be making enough money to buy traffic if your site is correctly optimized to produce profits. Once you have this rolling and can afford to buy traffic, you will have the time to build more websites.
So, here are the 11 techniques that are surefire free traffic getters:
Here is a tip that is so often passed up, I am not even numbering it: submit your website to as many search engines as you can including the big ones such as Google, MSN and Yahoo.
1. This technique is known as Bummarketing and has proven to work. Write a number of articles, say 5 to 10, and use free article directories to submit them. To make this work, you need to do two things: optimize the articles for at least one keyword that your site targets and be certain to include a link to your website in your bio box.
2. Leave relevant comments that include a backlink to your website on blogs you find that are related to your topic. Go to answers at yahoo-dot-com and find questions related to the topic on your site and answer them. Also, locate, join and become active in posting in popular forums that are focused on your site’s topic. Be sure to include your site’s link in your signature.
3. This can have a significant impact. If you are not familiar with press releases, take the time to research how they are written before you attempt it as they are not written in the same was an article is. After you know how, write a press release. Then submit a few variations of it to a few press release sites along the lines of prweb-dot-com.
4. You may know of a product or service you have used and like. Offer to write your unbiased testimonial in exchange for a backlink to your website.
5. This is a good one since blogs are so popular. Start your own blogs on wordpress-dot-com and blogger-dot-com. Be sure to put a link back to your website in them and submit your blogs to the many blog directories that are available for free. Keep your blogs updated regularly and you will pull in an abundance of traffic.
6. There are quite a few free classified ad sites such as craigslist-dot-com where you can post ads with your link. Live links can be posted in the best ones but post in the ones that don’t allow it anyway. Write a good ad and people will be motivated to copy and paste or type your web address in their browsers anyway. Be sure you put your ad in the right category or it can’t help you much.
7. Get traffic every time you send an email by putting your site’s link in your email signature. This is an easy one!
8. Social bookmarking sites such as Myspace are good places for traffic generation. Start a page on as many as you can find and be sure your link is posted there in an easy to find place. Squidoo is another good option. Open some accounts and create relevant lenses to your site the include your link.
9. Youtube is a great place to submit a viral video. You don’t even need to be knowledgeable in video production, just create a simple, relevant slideshow in powerpoint, include some nice background music and it will get the job done nicely.
10. Use Google to search your main keywords. This will help you find related sites in the top results that might allow you to exchange reciprocal links.
11. Write a short report or ebook up to 20 pages or so, or find one that has the rights brand it with your link and give it away. Then locate several free ebook directories and submit it. This can be repeated with several such ebooks or reports.
Though not free, this tip is worth putting a little money into. Make a list of variations or misspellings of your own domain name and/or those of some of your competition. Buy a good one that is available and use it to send traffic to your site through redirection.
Looks like a lot of work, doesn’t it? It is but you don’t have to do all of them, al least not all at once. Choose one or two you feel comfortable doing and do those now. Commit half an hour to an hour every day to free traffic building. Then choose another one or two once the first two are established and before you know it, you will have enough money to buy traffic. Then you will be able to focus your efforts and time to build up your internet business.
