Whats the fastest and free way to get traffic to an affiliated pay-per-click website?

Author: I’ve joined quite a few free traffic sites, but I want LOTS of traffic. I get paid for free members as well as unique ip’s.
There are many ways that would help you increase traffic to your website:
1st try to get more back links to your website and the easiest way to do that is by submitting your website to free web directories such as:
http://www.lii.org
http://www.dmoz.org
http://www.surformation.com
2nd Try promoting your website on social networking websites such as twitter
3rd and most importantly, provide quality content, this is an indirect way to get back links by genuinely driving people to link to your website.

There are a few ways to get fast traffic.
I would agree that promoting your site on twitter would be a good start but be sure that you do not only tweet sales messages. Start by building up a following by providing genuine help or jokes etc and then you can add sales messages. This means that if you change product in the future you can continue to use this method.
Article marketing is also a great way to get traffic. Try buying PLR articles, changing them a bit then submitting them to article directories with a resource box and a link to your site.
